Former Prime Minister Lee Hong-koo speaks to journalists from around the world yesterday at the J-Global Forum, a two-day event at the Shilla Hotel hosted by the JoongAng Ilbo, owner of the JoongAng Daily, and the Yumin Cultural Foundation. The agenda includes discussions of the feasibility of building a Northeast Asian community, similar to the European Union. Chun Young-woo, Seoul’s chief negotiator to the six-party talks, is scheduled to speak today.
